bumblebags sets out to provide imaginatively filled party bags and gift bags that will please both parents and children. Our party bags provide a lasting reminder of your child's birthday party and as well as being fun-filled, wherever possible, include contents that can inspire children and encourage learning and role play.
A recent survey (2007) by Tescos revealed that an average of £7.48 is spent on each party bag in the UK. bumblebags is about ensuring that your spend secures the best possible party bag - something a time-stretched parent can't possibly hope to achieve. We have devoted ourselves to monumental amounts of research into the best and most suitable products available - viewing tens of thousands of products in the process. Where we considered themed bags required particular items that were simply not available - we have commisioned the production and/or packaging ourselves (such as the eye patches and flags, fossils and fools gold). These products are unique to bumblebags - and as far as we are aware, so is this ethos.
Wherever possible our products have been sourced from fair-trade and ethical producers and suppliers. Our unique party bags and gift bags are themselves made by a charity in India. On the environmental front, our bags are kind on the environment. They are made from a cloth called Khadi. Looking very similar to cotton, Khadi is a cloth woven by hand using natural fibres like cotton, wool and silk. These fibres are often harvested from the wild, making the cloth 100% eco-friendly. In addition they, and as many products as possible, are non-disposable. In fact they are for keeps.
We currently offer a range of classically themed filled party bags and gift bags for children. We intend to expand this range to include more ages and themes. In addition, we will significantly expand our range of prizes and presents to do your party justice.
