All bumblebags party bags and gift bags are exclusive to us. They are of exceptional quality, hand-made and screen-printed to our own designs and specifications by a charity in India. As well as being ethically produced, they are made out of eco-friendly khadi. Looking very similar to cotton, Khadi is a cloth woven by hand using natural fibres like cotton, wool and silk. These fibres are often harvested from the wild, making the cloth 100% eco-friendly. In addition they, and as many products as possible, are non-disposable. In fact they are for keeps.
 The bags come in various sizes and designs. The drawstring bag, used for the majority of the bags, can be held in either the hand, or in younger children, over the shoulder; It is approximately 23 cm by 28 cm in size, although sizes will vary slightly due to their being hand-made. The ballerina bag, jungle bag, humpty-dumpty and natural bags with pink or blue drawstrings are of a slightly larger size (approximately 26cm x 33cm).This is to ensure they either accommodate larger sized items associated with baby and toddler products, or in the case of the ballerina bag, to provide a stylish ballet shoe bag.
In addition to the drawstring bags, we offer some beautiful 'across the body' sling bags fo girls - currently with either the fairy princess or princess castle designs. The bag itself measures approximately 27cm by 22cm. They have two compartments inside and are secured with a wooden button fastener.
 
The pirate flag bag is exactly that - and is completely unique. It is an exceptional quality pirate flag, hand-made from hand-woven khadi and hand printed. It measures approximately, 90cm by 90cm although there will be some variation due to its hand-made nature. It is gathered into a bag in order to carry the goodies home, thereafter transforming back into a pirate flag that can be used in role-play games or as a bedroom decoration. We have designed it so that it can be slotted onto a common or garden cane - should you not have a flag pole in the garden (!), or hung more traditionally. It also makes a fantastic bedroom decoration
All of our bags, including the pirate flag can be hand-washed.
